From the Acropolis to Ancient Olympia!

The 1000 Miglia Experience Greece 2026 kicked off with the administrative and technical inspections held at “Anassa City Events”!

The 56 crews who have registered for this year’s race—and, of course, their stunning cars—arrived early in the afternoon at the specially designed venue at “Anassa City Athens,” next to which the “Best Lap Cup – Chopard” took place on Tuesday afternoon.

Earlier, at the same venue, Lexus—the exclusive automotive partner of the Mille Miglia Experience Greece 2026—unveiled the all-new ES, a luxury sedan available in both hybrid and all-electric versions, which arrived in Greece just a few days ago.

On Tuesday afternoon, the organizers held a briefing for the competitors, followed by the official welcome dinner.

Representatives from a total of 16 countries are participating in this year’s race, which also features a new award. This is the “Italian Icon Cars” trophy, which is for cars manufactured in Italy with a minimum engine power of 240 horsepower.

The race will start on Wednesday, September 30, at 9:15 a.m. at the Acropolis, after which the crews will set off for the first leg of the race, which includes Special Precision Stages at the Megara Raceway (10:15 a.m.), at Areos Square in the center of Tripoli (12:51 p.m.), and in Ancient Olympia (5:48 p.m.), where the convoy will conclude its journey that afternoon.

The Peloponnese Region is serving as a co-organizer of the Mille Miglia Experience Greece 2026, while strong institutional support is provided by the Hellenic Police, the Attica Region, the Corinth Canal, and the municipalities of Tripoli, Ancient Olympia, Zacharo, Trifylia, Kalamata, Sparta, Nafplio, Ermionida, and Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni, as well as the Kalamata Municipal Port Fund, all standing by the event’s side.
